Flower delivery to Štarnov from a local florist

Štarnov lies on the Haná Plain, about four kilometres south of Šternberk. The Aleš and Grygava streams flow through the village. Railway line 290 also passes through it.

The village was first mentioned in 1269 under the name Sternow. It was founded by the lords of Šternberk. Štarnov has the 18th-century parish church of St Nicholas and the Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows. In 2020, three lime trees were designated as protected trees: Lípa svobody, Masarykova lípa and Rychtářská lípa.
