Flower delivery in Příkazy from a local florist

Příkazy lies in the Upper Moravian Basin, about 10 km north-west of Olomouc. The municipality also includes the local part of Hynkov by the Morava River.

The first written record of Příkazy dates to 1250, when the village was recorded as Prekaz. Part of the village is a rural heritage conservation area with examples of Haná clay folk architecture. Two Haná farmsteads with a žudr, a characteristic feature of local folk architecture, have been preserved, and the Haná Open-Air Museum, part of the National Open-Air Museum, opened in 1990. The Chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius, which dates from 1926, has a sandstone relief by sculptor Julius Pelikán.
