Liboš is a village in the Haná region, just north of Štěpánov, with the Oskava stream running between them. The municipality also includes Krnov, once an independent village. The municipal office is in the same building as the municipality-run kindergarten.

Liboš is first mentioned in writing in 1078, when Prince Ota of Olomouc gave the village to Hradisko Monastery. The Chapel of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross was built in 1732. By the road in the centre stands a Neo-Gothic sandstone column of the Holy Cross dating from 1893. The cultural hall and its garden host community events, including a village feast celebration.
