Flower delivery to Huzová from a nearby florist

Huzová lies in the Low Jeseník range on the boundary between the Olomouc and Moravian-Silesian Regions. It is about 13 km from Šternberk, beside the road to Rýmařov. The municipality of Huzová also includes the local parts of Arnoltice and Veveří.

The first record of Huzová appears in a 1141 charter issued by Bishop Zdík, which names the place Guzoue. The core of the parish Church of St Giles probably dates from the second half of the 14th century, and it took its present form after rebuilding following a fire in 1874. About 1.5 km south of Huzová, near the settlement of Mutkov, are the remains of Huzová Castle, founded by the Hrutovic family at the end of the 13th century. In Veveří stands the late-Baroque Chapel of St Jerome, dating from 1791, beside a former cemetery enclosed by a stone wall.
